How Our Treatments Work

Anti-wrinkle injections are non-surgical cosmetic treatments designed to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Here’s how they work:
   •    Relax muscles: The injection temporarily blocks the nerve signals that make facial muscles contract.
   •    Smooth skin: Because the treated muscles can’t move as strongly, the skin above them appears smoother, reducing wrinkles.
   •    Prevent deepening: They can also help prevent lines from becoming deeper over time, especially in areas where facial expressions are frequent (like frown lines, forehead lines, or crow’s feet).

Common areas treated:
   •    Forehead lines
   •    Frown lines (between the eyebrows)
   •    Crow’s feet (around the eyes)
   •    Bunny lines (on the nose)
   •    Sometimes for jaw slimming, neck bands, or even to reduce excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)

Duration: Results typically last 3–6 months, after which muscle movement gradually returns and wrinkles may reappear

Dermal fillers are cosmetic treatments used to restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and smooth out deeper wrinkles or folds. Dermal fillers work by adding or replacing volume beneath the skin.

What they are made of

Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that naturally occurs in the skin and helps keep it plump and hydrated.

What they are used for
   •    Plumping lips (lip enhancement)
   •    Smoothing deep lines and folds (e.g., nasolabial folds between the nose and mouth)
   •    Restoring cheek or chin volume (for a more lifted, youthful appearance)
   •    Jawline definition
   •    Under-eye hollows (tear troughs, in some cases)

How long they last
   •    HA fillers: typically 6–18 months (gradually broken down by the body)

Skin boosters are injectable skin treatments designed to improve skin quality, hydration, and elasticity, rather than freezing muscles (like anti-wrinkle injections) or adding volume (like dermal fillers).

What they do
   •    Deeply hydrate the skin from within
   •    Improve skin texture (smoother, softer)
   •    Increase elasticity and firmness
   •    Add a subtle glow (“glass skin” effect)
   •    Reduce the appearance of fine lines, crepiness, and acne scars

Common treatment areas
   •    Face (cheeks, around the mouth, under the eyes)
   •    Neck
   •    Décolletage (chest)

How they work
   •    Injected in a BAP technique just under the dermis
   •    Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water, giving long-lasting hydration
   •    Stimulates collagen and elastin production over time

Duration
   •    Results build gradually and typically last 6–12 months depending on the product and individual skin. A maintenance every 6-9 months is recommended of just 1 treatment

Vitamin B12 injections are shots that deliver vitamin B12 (cobalamin) directly into the body, into a muscle on the arm.

Why B12 is important

Vitamin B12 is essential for:
   •    Making red blood cells (prevents anemia)
   •    Supporting the nervous system
   •    Helping with energy production and metabolism
   •    Supporting brain function and mood regulation

Benefits of B12
   •    Increased energy levels
   •    Improved concentration and mood
   •    Better sleep regulation
   •    Support for red blood cell health
    - Clears brain fog

A facial is a professional skin treatment that involves deep cleansing, exfoliation, and nourishment to improve the health and appearance of the skin

Benefits of facials
   •    Deeply cleans and unclogs pores
   •    Removes dead skin for a brighter complexion
   •    Improves circulation and lymphatic drainage
   •    Boosts hydration and skin barrier health
   •    Can reduce stress and tension
   •    Helps with specific concerns: acne, pigmentation, fine lines, dryness

A chemical peel is a skin treatment where a chemical solution is applied to the face (or sometimes neck) to exfoliate the skin and encourage regeneration. The solution removes dead or damaged outer layers of skin, allowing new, healthier skin to come through.

What chemical peels do
   •    Smooth fine lines and wrinkles
   •    Improve skin texture and tone
   •    Reduce sun damage, age spots, and pigmentation
   •    Help with acne and acne scars
   •    Brighten dull-looking skin

How they work
   •    A chemical solution (like glycolic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, trichloroacetic acid, or phenol) is applied to the skin.
   •    It breaks down the bonds between old skin cells.
   •    The skin then peels or flakes off over a few days, revealing fresher skin beneath.

Crystal microdermabrasion is a non-invasive skin resurfacing treatment that uses fine crystals to exfoliate the outermost layer of the skin (the epidermis). It helps improve skin texture, clarity, and radiance without chemicals or downtime.

 How it works
   •    A handheld device sprays tiny crystals onto the skin.
   •    At the same time, the device suction-vacuums away the used crystals and dead skin cells.

This dual action:
   •    Exfoliates the surface → removes dull/dead cells
   •    Stimulates circulation → encourages collagen and elastin production

Benefits
   •    Smoother, fresher-looking skin
   •    Reduction in fine lines and superficial wrinkles
   •    Helps fade age spots, pigmentation, and sun damage
   •    Improves acne and mild acne scarring
   •    Clears clogged pores and reduces blackheads/whiteheads
   •    Evens out skin tone and texture

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment where a trained professional uses a sterile surgical scalpel to gently scrape away:
   •    Dead skin cells from the surface (outermost epidermis)
   •    Fine vellus hair (often called “peach fuzz”)

 Benefits of dermaplaning
   •    Instantly smoother, softer skin
   •    Brighter complexion (removes dull, dead cells)
   •    Helps makeup apply more evenly
   •    Enhances penetration of skincare products
   •    Can soften the look of fine lines and acne scars
   •    No downtime (just mild redness possible for a few hours)

How it works
   •    Skin is cleansed.
   •    A sterile blade is held at a 45° angle and gently glides across the skin.
   •    Dead cells and hair are removed in thin, feathery strokes.
   •    A soothing serum or mask is often applied afterward.

Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive skin treatment that uses very fine, sterile needles to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin. These controlled micro-wounds trigger the body’s natural healing response, stimulating collagen and elastin production.

How it works
   •    A device (roller or pen with tiny needles) is passed over the skin.
   •    The needles make microscopic punctures in the top layers of skin.
   •    The body responds by producing new collagen, elastin, and fresh skin cells.
   •    Serums (like hyaluronic acid or vitamins) are used during/after to penetrate deeper through the channels created.

 Benefits
   •    Improves skin texture and tone
   •    Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
   •    Minimises acne scars and surgical scars
   •    Helps with enlarged pores
   •    Can fade pigmentation and sun damage
   •    Enhances absorption of skincare products
   •    Promotes a firmer, smoother, and more youthful look

LED light therapy is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses different wavelengths (colors) of low-level light energy to target various skin concerns. It doesn’t damage the skin or cause pain, instead, the light penetrates at specific depths to stimulate natural cellular processes.

How it works
   •    Skin cells absorb light energy, which boosts their function.
   •    Different wavelengths (colors) penetrate to different depths

Benefits
   •    Reduces acne and inflammation
   •    Smooths fine lines and wrinkles
   •    Promotes healing after treatments (like microneedling or peels)
   •    Evens skin tone and pigmentation
   •    Gives skin a brighter, healthier glow
   •    Can even help with wound healing and pain relief (especially near-infrared)
